Tropical Shades is a NEW Locally-owned Tanning Salon. We are offering our clients the experience that fits their needs with both UVA tanning & UVB Red Light beds. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable & relaxing atmosphere to every client and ensure their needs are met & expectations surpassed. While we won’t be the biggest, we are committed to providing our clients with the cleanest, most relaxing, and friendly tanning salon, because we truly believe you deserve it. We want our clients to leave Tropical Shades feeling part of the "Tropical Tribe"!

We offer 3 different levels of tanning to provide our clients a variety of options. The different levels create a different tanning experience. Each level is unique with the affects you receive from them. As you move up in levels, the UVB rays decrease, and the UVA rays increase. Therefore, a level 1 tan will show up faster compared to the level 5. However, the level 5 tan is going to last longer compared to the level 1. You will notice a much deeper and longer lasting tan in fewer/shorter sessions with the bronzing bulbs. So, depending on if you are looking to get in & out, or a few moments of relaxation, we have the bed for you.

We are also excited to offer 1 Red Light UVB Bed, which has so many beneficial affects to your well-being.

Level 5 Stand-Up

Our LEVEL 5 option is a Maximum 8 minute - Super Fast, Super Even Stand Up Booth. This Stand Up Booth is at the top of all our beds at a level 5, with an intensity level of 220 watts. This bed contains 54 full body bulbs, which ensure that your face is getting tan as well.

Level 4 Bed

Our LEVEL 4 option is a 12 minute maximum bed. The 3 high output facial tanners in this bed are high intensity at 160 watts. If your face doesn't tan well, this is the perfect bed for you! If you are looking for comfort - this bed has what you are looking for - Air Conditioning as well as 2 speakers!

Level 3 Bed

Our LEVEL 2 option is a 15 minute maximum bed. This bed has 120 watts with 3 high pressure facial tanners. This bed will provide a decently fast tan, that will last a little longer.

Red Light UVB

Our Red Light Bed has 600 nanometer full body lamps which produce 4 milliwatts per cm square of output.

Red Light is a safe all natural process that encourages your body to naturally produce enzymes, elastin fibers, and collagen that support the skin's structure.
